Enrolling in Acadia Parish Schools
The Acadia Parish School Board offers two options for you child’s educational path. Our families can pick between the structure of a traditional school and the flexibility of online virtual school, A+ Campus. Both options provide a fully accreditied, high-quality education but cater to different learing styles and the needs of the family.
Traditional School
Traditional schools provide a structured, in-person environment where students interact directly with peers and teachers daily.
Registration Steps
Step 1: Use the Acadia Parish Attendance Zones Map to locate the schools within the school zone for your address.
Step 2: Complete the Student Information Sheet.
Step 3: Prepare to bring the following documents to the school to be copied for records.
Photo Id. ( Driver’s license, State issued ID, or Military ID)
Student’s original, state-issued birth certificate.
Student Social Security Card
Immunization Records
Records from previous school(s)
Two Proofs of Residence with your name, address, and date
Domiciliary’s homestead exemption OR Signed lease or rental agreement AND one current utility bill or service statement for GAS, ELECTRIC, WATER with the name of parent/guardian printed on the bill.
Proof of Legal Custody-If the parents are divorced
A+ Campus
A+Campus is a virtual learning option in Acadia Parish School District. A+Campus is fully accredited and offers courses tailored to fit each student's needs. With flexible scheduling options, a variety of class choices, and in-person teacher support, A+Campus ensures that Acadia Parish students can create a school experience that fits their needs and prepares them for post-secondary college and career options.
Testing appointments and tutoring appointments will be available:
7:30 - 4:30 at the APEC Building in Crowley
Base school office hours and tutoring sessions are available. Please contact your A+Campus teacher for more information and/or to schedule.
You should bring your charged Chromebook, a pen/pencil, and any notes you have taken for the course.
