š£š¢š” What better time to learn how to make boudin than the week leading into Mardi Gras?! Our Advanced Food and Nutrition and ProStart students started the lesson with learning about some Cajun Heritage and the history of boudin making. Then, they learned firsthand how to make boudin, from which type of meat is used to make boudin all the way to cooking it and putting it in the casing with the help of our principal, Mr. Fontenot! It was a fun, interesting project that had all of our students engaged and ready to eat! š£š¢š”
