Friday, November 17 is a Parish Wide Jean Day.

Fantastic Job Iota High School Students & Faculty! You did it once again!! The Louisiana Department of Education released the School Performance Schools and IHS once again has a grade of "A". We scored a 99.3 which is up from our 2022 score of 97.5. Showing improvement were Assessments & ACT scores. Our students and teachers work extremely hard to be prepared for these assessments. We are proud of you!


Congratulatons to our Bulldog Football Team for beating Church Point in Round 1 of the Playoffs! Iota travels to Cecilia Friday night for Round 2! Let's Go Dogs!

Congratulations to our Ladies Country Country Team for doing their best at the State Cross Country Meet! They placed 11th! Great job Ladies!

Friday, November 3 will be a parish wide Jean/Spirit day in recognition of everyone's tremendous efforts to ensure our extracurricular activities and fall sports are meaningful and positive experiences for our students. A big thanks to everyone that goes above and beyond to make our pragram an integral part of the overall school experience!

There will be school on Monday, October 16 but no school on Friday, October 20 because of Rice Festival Holiday!

Senior Parent Meeting tonight @ 5:30 in Auditorium. Topics include Graduation Requirements, Scholarships, Financial Aid, FAFSA, TOPS/TOPS Tech, Applying to College or Technical College.

1st 9 weeks ends today. Report cards will be given to students on October 17 during 1st hour.

The Homecoming Pep Rally will begin at 2:45 at Bulldog Stadium. Come out and support our Bulldogs, Band, Cheer and Danceline!

Homecoming Parade will begin at 5:30 starting from St. Frances/St. Joseph Parking lot and continue down South Fifth Street to the curve by Beaucoup Blends. Hope to see you out there! Please remember to pick up the candy wrappers/trash around your spot before you leave!

A great big THANK YOU! to all of the parents who visited our campus last night for Open House! We appreciate you and look forward to a great 2023-2024 school year!


Open House will be held on Monday, August 28 from 5:30 - 7:30. Parents, we invite you to stop by and visit with your child's teachers.


Senior Girls will have a meeting to discuss Homecoming on Monday morning. An announcement will be made for meeting to report to auditorium.
