Student Council members at AMS are leading role models for their fellow student body and each commit to upholding the Student Council Mission Statement:

We, the Student Council of Armstrong Middle School, believe that respect, academic success, school spirit, self-esteem, communication, and student involvement are important aspects of our student body. We, the Student Council of AMS, will be role models for our fellow students in academics, behavior, and attitude. We focus on Armstrong Way and strive to perform to the best of our ability as we represent the student body of AMS.

Student Council's purpose is to organize and lead student events and projects such as dances, school assemblies, community service projects, and fundraising. Student Council strives to create a positive, enthusiastic school environment where students are excited to learn and actively participate in their education.
